KUALA LUMPUR, Actadiurma.id – Polisi Kerajaan Malaysia menangkap seorang pria Israel yang membawa enam pistol dan 200 peluru.
Pria yang diduga agen intelijen Israel, Mossad, ditangkap pada Rabu 27 Maret 2024. WN Israel berusia 36 tahun itu ditahan di sebuah hotel di Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
Inspektur Jenderal Polisi Malaysia Razarudin Husain mengatakan pria Israel itu masuk ke negara tetangganya menggunakan paspor Prancis. Pria yang diduga agen Mossad itu baru menyerahkan paspor Israelnya setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
“The suspect admitted to entering Malaysia to hunt down and kill fellow Israelis because of family problems,” he said, quoted from the Straits Times, Saturday, March 30 2024.
“We do not believe his words and do not rule out the possibility that he has another agenda in Malaysia,” said Razarudin.
From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that the man arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 12 2024 from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He stayed at three other hotels before being arrested on March 27, 2024.
Razarudin emphasized that currently the investigation being carried out by the Malaysian Police is focused on the suspect’s alleged involvement in Mossad.
